My established client based in Biggleswade are recruiting for a forklift / warehouse operative with either a counterbalance or flexi license, this is working on a temp to perm basis, after a period of 12 weeks the successful candidate with join their experienced team permanently.

About the role:

  • Counterbalance and Flexi Forklift Driving –
  • Picking items by hand
  • Mixture of working on the FLT and manually picking goods
  • Picking customer orders
  • Moving and stacking pallets
  • Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles
  • 5 days per week, no weekend working.

Available shifts and pay rates below:

  • AM 06:00 – 14:00 – 30 minutes paid break
  • PM 14:00 – 22:00 – 30 minutes paid break

About you:

  • Previous experience essential
  • Must have experience using a Counterbalance forklift.
  • Must be able to get to and from Biggleswade for the working times.

The ideal candidate will need to be able to work well within a team and just as effectively alone. Good attention to detail is essential to the role.

This position requires someone who can self-manage and be proactive in their approach to work, as there will be times where a supervisor is busy, and you will need to use your own initiative.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven history within a fast-paced warehouse environment and using a Forklift.

The successful candidate will hold a current and valid Forklift license renewed or taken within the last 3 years.

Previous warehouse experience is essential.
