Summary of the role for the CNC Programmer

To undertake any production of finished parts, i.e. turn, mill, routers, assembly etc.

What the job involves:

  • Program, Set and Run.
  • CNC turning, CNC milling, manual drilling, milling, turning.
  • Use of EdgeCAM CAM package
  • Programming of Fanuc Lathes
  • Programming of WinMAX Hurco Mills
  • Set and Run Machines

Requirements for this role:

  • Experienced in Cad/Cam using the latest Delcam Power mill and Power shape software creating CNC programs to produce the finished product.
  • Good experience as a turner able to working from job cards, CAD data and drawings. You will be using Fanuc controlled machines, however, good programming experience will be considered.
  • 6 years experience in programming offline, understanding of both Fanuc and Heidenheimer controls is preferable.

  • £18.00 – £22.00 per hour, depending on experience
