Job description:
We are looking for reliable candidates to join our Client’s Repairs & Maintenance Team on a 12 Week temp to perm basis.
The role is for a reliable and motivated Maintenance Operative (driving licence is needed) who can deliver a high-quality building maintenance service across domestic and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and repair works, including responsive and emergency repairs
- Repair, replace or make safe building elements, ensuring properties are secure, wind- and watertight
- Complete temporary repairs and small component replacements using appropriate materials
- Work alongside tradespeople on maintenance, alterations and improvement works
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and office-based teams
- Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally
- Support apprentices and colleagues where required
- Maintain relevant skills, qualifications and certifications
- Participate in the out-of-hours repairs rota
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in building maintenance or repairs
- A proactive, self-motivated and customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to health & safety, policies and high standards of workmanship
- Driving licence
- Physically fit
This is a temp to perm role on a 37 hour week at £15.56 an hour.
This role requires flexibility and a willingness to undertake additional duties appropriate to the role and grade.
