Their building covers some 25,000 sq ft of the latest in production facilities for surface mount, thru-hole, cable assembly, testing, inspection and finishing
Brief
Working in the Production Department, you will assemble PCB’s, hand soldering, loose load method, flow solder machine operation, pre-forming, cleaning tank operation, masking, drilling etc as instructed and according to customer requirements.
Role
To assemble products following customer drawings and instructions.
To ensure the correct use of equipment in the work area.
Complete production documentation as required.
Keep work area clean and tidy.
Support the company’s continuous quality improvement programme.
In addition the jobholder may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager from time to time.
Skills
- General experience of PCB manufacturing
- Knowledge and experience of working to drawings and relevant build information
- Knowledge of acceptable quality standards
- Soldering experience
- Hand pre-forming experience
- Knowledge of resistor colour codes
- Extensive component recognition
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Knowledge of working to ISO 9001
- Previous training to recognised standards
- Wiring experience
- Flexible & Dexterous
- Enthusiastic Team Player
- Able to work unsupervised
- Able to use own initiative and open to updating existing skills
Annual Leave 20 days per annum
Hours 37.5 hours a week
Times 7.30am till 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and till 1.00pm on a Friday
Status Temp to perm, with terms being offered after a minimum 13 weeks
