The purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient delivery of day-to-day online marketing activities and communicate these effectively to our clients.
Reporting directly to the Group Head of Marketing; this role will play a pivotal part in helping the company achieve its ambitious marketing targets over the next year, helping to ensure the business fully exploits online marketing opportunities across its brands.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Liaising with the Group Head of Online and Marketing Manager to ensure product placement messages are reflected well across all online marketing channels.
- Online Merchandising; this includes product research and the creation and implementation of; content, banners and marketing copy
- Assisting with the planning and implementation of email marketing campaigns
- Communicate efficiently with key clients and partner relationships
- Maintaining the online marketing schedule, ensuring deadlines are met
- Assisting with the implementation and testing of online special offers
- Creative input into marketing development and campaign projects
- Providing support to the Online Marketing team on ad hoc tasks and projects
- Assisting with the updating of weekly and monthly reports
CONTEXT/ENVIRONMENT
The incumbent must be able to manage multiple requests and projects, prioritising workload in line with company and department strategy.
- Must has a good commercial awareness and keen interest in consumer behaviour
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as having self-motivation
- A creative thinker, with good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Provide general support to the online team and the business as a whole.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Educated to degree level or equivalent, with real enthusiasm for online marketing
- Advanced computer literacy with particular focus on Photoshop and some technical knowledge of HTML is desirable.
- Experienced in the creation of presentation documentation both internally and externally.
- The candidate must have a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills and a track record of working well as part of a team.
- Communication skills must be of the highest level: written, verbal and interpersonal, as is the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to plan and schedule own work and manage conflicting priorities. Ability to multitask and prioritise within a continuously changing environment
